YOU NEED A SALT Lamp! And this one fits the bill. it is calming, serene and helps me sleep. love it! I am putting one of these in each of my children’s rooms to help with sleep and detoxifying. it’s the most mellow casting light and you will want one in every room. Beats LCD and others hands down!

This salt lamp is described as small but it is a chunk of pink salt hat’s about 5″in diameter and 7″or 8″tallsnd weighs several pounds. I day that’s a very good size! What really sold me was the variable power switch so the young ten whose gift it is can keep it on al the time by turning the light low at night. very handy and very well priced.

The first bulb that came with it was literally on 24/7 since I purchased and just recently went and replaced it. This is fantastic and helps keep the energy flowing here at work!

The rock is not completely flush with the base, which I think could have been made better. Electrical prongs that go to the cord were also pretty baddly bent. We had to bend them back, On a positive note it does make a pretty light, also it is a lot larger than l was expecting.
